A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS OUR FIRST STEP TOWARD ANY PLACEMENT, SO WITHOUT THAT APPLICATION WE HAVE NO PLACE TO START A CONVERSATION.  YOU WILL FIND THE ONLINE APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE AT www.colliesheltierescue.org.  OUR IT FOLKS MADE IT SO SIMPLE THAT EVEN I COULD DO IT.

Harry is the quintessential 7-month-old sable and white rough coated Collie pup.  He is rowdy and fun and busy, busy, busy.  If a busy and rowdy puppy is not what you are looking for, there are and will be more adult Collies.  A puppy needs you to promise to live with them for the next 12-14 years.  Please try to look at that realistically.

Harry is healthy and happy, as every Collie pup should be.  His owner is no longer able to care for him, which we hear sadly almost every day on the phone from folks.  He is up-to-date on vaccines and will be neutered by the time he is placed.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
