A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS OUR FIRST STEP TOWARD ANY PLACEMENT.  YOU WILL FIND THE ONLINE APP AT www.colliesheltierescue.org.  THERE ARE 10 PUPPIES IN THIS LITTER OF A NEWFOUNDLAND/BORDER COLLIE MIX MAMA.   YES, WE NOTICED THEY ARE NOT COLLIES OR SHELTIES BUT THEY NEEDED SOMEWHERE TO GO TO SURVIVE SO....

Emmy Lou is the smallest of the "singing puppies" litter of Mama Adele.  She is petite and snuggly and very feminine.  At just 8 weeks old, she is already a crowd favorite and one of our volunteers comes by just to cuddle her almost daily.  As to what combo of breeds she might be, it is difficult to say.  But if ever there was a perfect little brown mutt, she is it!

All of her vet care is on us.  As she is ready for vaccines and to be spayed, we will be in touch and we will pay for it all to be done at the veterinary clinic of your choice.  BUT, it will all be done.  PERIOD.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
