George is a 13 week old rough Collie mix puppy.  His mom is a glorious sable and white rough Collie just like Lassie but we have no idea who his papa is.  He is happy and healthy and active with is littermates.  He enjoys the company of men, women and children as well as adult dogs of all sizes and cats, too.

George has had the first three of his puppy combo vaccines.  He will need a fourth combo vaccine with lepto and his Rabies when he is old enough.  RMCSR covers all of the expenses for pre-anesthetic bloodwork, neutering and microchipping when the time is right.  But, in the meantime, what his potential family adds is LOVE.  And George will return that love forever.

We are guessing at the other breed in George.  But what he definitely is...is rangy and growing like a weed.  He has never met a stranger and is extremely affectionate.

George Bailey is every bit as charming as Jimmy Stewart.  (That is understandable to us older folks.)

From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us.
